While our doctor may be new to Paarl, she is certainly not new to the Boland. With years of experience and a strong connection to the community, she brings her expertise, passion and commitment to exceptional dental care to her new home in Paarl.
After-hours call-out fees range between R700 - R900. This is additional to any treatments performed. The call out fee is payable in cash only. Kindly contact us during these hours to make an appointment and enquire about the location of the service. The doctor on duty will confirm the location and address upon booking request.

Dr Annwin Strohmenger
Dental Practitioner B.Ch.D (Pret)
Dr Annwin qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BChD) from the University of Pretoria in 2004, thereafter completing her community service year with the South African Military Health Services. She went on to establish and manage her own successful dental practice in Centurion for a decade, before broadening her experience in multidisciplinary settings, including a senior dentist role with Intercare.
Dr Annwin's clinical interests span all aspects of general dentistry, with particular expertise in crown and bridge work, implant restorations, endodontics, and cosmetic dentistry, including Zoom! teeth whitening. She is people-orientated at heart, and takes great pride in building lasting relationships with her patients, many of whom have stayed with her for years.
Dr Annwin relocated to the Western Cape in 2023 with her husband and their twin boys, and has since enjoyed becoming part of the local community. She is excited to bring her warmth, experience, and patient-centred approach to the DentalWize team, and looks forward to welcoming new and familiar faces alike.

I was recently treated by Dr. Neline Van Der Merwe and had a truly wonderful experience. After a traumatic recovery from my wisdom tooth removal, I had developed a real fear of dentists and oral surgeons. However, Dr. Van Der Merwe was incredibly kind and gentle throughout each session, always making sure I was as comfortable and pain-free as possible. She patiently answered all of my (many!) questions and made me feel genuinely cared for with her warm and reassuring manner. The receptionists were also absolutely lovely and welcoming. I would highly recommend this dental practice to anyone looking for compassionate and professional care.

Still currently going through my treatment plan with them and so far the array of dentist I have seen have been amazing. There is some confusion around the quoting and who was going to carry out the treatments but this is I feel certainly an out of the ordinary occurance here. Admin staff have been a pleasure to work with through these minor set backs. Can't complain and can't fault the level of service and amazing attitudes here. And....this probably being the most amazing part of this place is that they operate after hours, Sunday. The show never ends here.

The receptionist really made it for me, her helpfulness and personality really set the bar. Her name was Samantha, she gets 5stars. The Dr who assisted my husband was also very helpful and friendly, assisted him with his emergency root canal in a jiffy. He felt relieve right away. The cost wasn't too extravagant thank goodness. Going to the dentist is something most of us never look forward to, however my visit with Dr. Caroline Wilkinson was an absolute pleasure. She made the experience of yanking out a wisdom tooth, quick and painless. She was super friendly and I left my appointment with half a smile (only because of the numbness). Would definitely recommend Dr. Wilkinson at Dentalwize, should you run into any tooth trouble, and want really good service at affordable rates.
